All Home Idea Stage Seminars are being held in Room 103. Click here for a Stage schedule.

Jeff Holper, The Mole Hunter will present “Taking Your Lawn Back from Moles and Voles,” an educational and entertaining program to help you get rid of moles, voles and other vermin in your yard. Holper, a local pest management expert and president of Holper’s Pest & Animal Solutions, will also answer questions about carpenter bees, carpenter ants, mosquitoes and termites. Bring your questions and bugs, and The Mole Hunter will help you solve your pest problems.

Scott Mosby, KMOX’s Home Answer Man, presents “Energy Credits - Comfort & Cash.” Homeowners need to maintain and improve their homes, even in an unsure economy. The government has a number of programs available for homeowners who make energy-related improvements to their homes. These programs can be confusing, and information about them can be hard to find. Mosby will share information about the various programs that can help you take advantage of available tax credits.

Mike Schwartze from Affordable Kitchens & Baths, a division of Callier & Thompson Kitchens, Baths and Appliances, will help you “Refresh Your Kitchen or Bath on a Budget.” Even though a full kitchen or bath remodel may not be within your budget right now, there are still many things you can do to change the look and feel of these high-traffic rooms.

Kelley Lamm, an entrepreneur passionate about Woman-Centric Building, will teach you design tips based around "Her Perspective."

Toby Trentadue, District Manager of AKW Medical Supplies will share “Sustainable Living & Beyond!” This seminar will outline what you need to know prior to your remodel project or new home design to enable your future. As you age in place or have unforeseen circumstances, new products and design concepts allow your home to be a safe and smart environment for you and your family today and into the future.

GeoComfort will help show visitors understand what a geothermal system is and how it works, explain the various applications of geothermal systems, and share common geothermal myths.
